Sake Profile: Hakutsuru Toji-kan Honjozo

Hakutsuru’s Toji-kan Honjozo is a luxurious, smooth-tasting sake created by their award-winning master brewer, Masao Nakazawa, using 100% Yamadanishiki rice.  It’s best enjoyed when lightly heated to 36-38°C and is the perfect accompaniment to sushi.  The Hakutsuru Sake Brewing Co Ltd is based in Kobe (Hyogo Prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan) and is the world’s number-one selling sake brand.
